ATHINA® Identifier is a lightweight, robust biological agent identifier able to process samples using either Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Reverse Transcriptase (RT), Immunoassay (IA), or a combination of these technologies in a single consumable. The ATHINA® Identifier is designed for use in non-traditional environments like mobile and remote laboratories that do not require infrastructure. The ATHINA® Identification provides for a unique platform of simple sample to answer with no sample preparation and can be operated by non-technical personnel. It accepts aerosolized and
surface samples, and it is compatible with standard buffers.
