The Aegis is a portable Radionuclide Identifier (RID) based on a High Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector. The unit combines HPGe detector technology, thermal-cycle free cryostat cooling, and a unique BEGe detector. The system comes complete with a full version of analysis software. The unit is remotely controlled via a wired or wireless connection.
