Vaprox Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP®)

STERIS's VHP is used in sterilizing clean rooms and pharmaceutical process equipment. In the past, STERIS has also adapted and scaled up the equipment used to supply VHP for decontaminating US Government facilities contaminated by Anthrax. VHP is produced by vaporizing an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide while controlling the temperature and humidity levels within an enclosure, such as a room, shelter/tent or a vehicle’s interior. VHP is environmentally friendly as it naturally degrades to oxygen and water vapor leaving behind no chemical residues.
