ExPen
The ExPens are sold separately (1, 2, 3, A, B+, P, AN, U) and when used together are able to detect a wide range of explosive targets. The pens are based on colorimetric methods utilizing several different reagents within the chamber on the bottom of the pen. Each pen is for the detection and identification of class of compounds e.g. nitrate, chlorate, and peroxide-based explosives. The kits use the same chemistry as the DropEx and Expray
products but utilize single-use pens. The pens are very portable and easy to use, as the entire pen is consumed for each sample tested. Shelf life is greater than one year.
