Vulcan
The Vulcan is a rugged, handheld Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) tool used for elemental analysis. The Vulcan can identify common alloys such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium, cobalt, chromium, nickel, and copper, as well as stainless steel, tool steels, low alloy steels and more. Two models: Smart and Expert. The Expert contains a built-in camera and identifies Co, Cu, Pb, Sn, Ti, and Zn alloys. Formerly sold by Oxford Instruments.
