FlexD® Decontaminant
STERIS FlexD point-of-use-adjustable formulation is a two-part dry powder that provides decontamination of either nerve agents (if one part is used) or blister agents (if both parts are used). While no microbial claims are made, FlexD has been demonstrated in laboratory testing to have biological efficacy. Because it is stored and shipped dry, then mixed with water at the point of use, STERIS FlexD meets the need for a very low logistics decontaminant. Mixed with water at the point of use, 4 lbs of FlexD will produce 5 gallons of liquid decontaminant.
