Modular Decontamination System (MDS)
The MDS system utilizes a black powder-coated aluminum fold-out stand with a Cordura© workstation skirt and waste bin combination for easy set up and operation. Decontamination is conducted in a 4' X 4' pop-up contamination control shuffle pit with attached 'Hot' and 'Cold' line designators. A sensitive equipment wash basin is readily attached to the top of the stand to provide effective decontamination of recoverable equipment and weapons. Each MDS System includes hazardous material disposal bags; 6mil poly bags, 18" zip ties, folding hook knife with LED light, EMT scissor, wash mitt, 2.5 gallon H20 transport bladder, wash basin, hand inflation pump, Shuffle Pit, Sensitive Equipment wash basin with stand supports, Decon Media containment bag, pen lights, adhering labels and pen. The MDS System is packaged in a rugged Cordura transport backpack carrier which can be sized to accommodate 1 station (MDS1X) to 4 stations (MDS4X).
