The Vehicle Mounted Respiratory Chemical Defense System (VRS) is designed for use in military tracked vehicles, armored personnel carriers and supply trucks. The VRS provides filtered air under positive pressure to the user’s chemical defense mask to protect against toxic, biological and chemical warfare agents. This system can be used in conjunction with any chemical defense mask (respirator), which has a NATO standard thread and is a fully qualified product.
