E3500 and E4500 Portable Advanced Explosives Detector
The E3500® is a portable explosives trace detector that uses Luminol Chemiluminescence (Chemilumina) as the detection technology. It is capable of detecting the presence of all common threat explosives, including ICAO taggants, military plastics, and TATP. It does not use any external carrier gas or radioactive source. The E4500 can be programmed by the user.
