ELITE Test Kit Series
The E.L.I.T.E. Explosives Detection Kits are a colorimetric detection system that can be used to detect energetic and related materials at the trace level. It uses a kit-incorporated swab to collect the sample and a series of premixed solutions that the user breaks sequentially. Three unique products are currently available: the EL100 for nitrogen-based explosives, the EL230 for peroxide and chlorate-based explosives, and the CHL/PCHL kit for chlorate/perchlorate-based explosives. The EL 1002-XC (shown in the photo above) includes all three individual kits.
