ACADA—Automatic Chemical Agent Detection and Alarm System
A man-portable point detection system used to detect all classic nerve and blister agents as well as other chemical warfare agent (CWA) vapors. It is designed to operate in a shipboard environment and to detect agents at low concentrations in real-time while ignoring the presence of common vapor interferents. Military spec equivalent to Smiths Detection GID-3.
