The Alexeter Technologies' Defender TSR (Test Strip Reader) is a hand-held densitometer that reads results of the Tetracore BTA strips. Light is directed down onto the surface of the immunochromatography strip and the intensity of light reflected back yields information on a positive/negative result as well as on the control line to validate the reaction.
