Luminex® 100/200TM

Luminex xMAP(R) Technology was originally developed using the principles of flow cytometry and serves as the principle design process for the Luminex 200. The Luminex 200 combines xMAP flow cytometry and xPONENT software into a detection systems capable of multiplexing up to 100 different analytes in a single reaction. Luminex xMAP technology uses a proprietary dying process and a single-size microsphere to reduce potential complications. Sample analysis is achieved by use of lasers, optics, fluidics and high-speed digital signal processors to perform genetic and protein analysis.
