VereThreat Chip/VerePLEX Biosystem

VereThreat is a Lab-on-Chip application that can detect, differentiate, and identify major biological agents in one test. It is a fast PCR-microarray based diagnostic test which consists of 4 pieces: Temperature Control System (TCS), Optical Reader, Biosystem Software, and Bar Code Reader. The TCS can run up to five different tests and protocols simultaneously or at different points of time without having to wait for all the modules to complete their cycles. It is modular and can be scaled to accommodate the needs of both large diagnostic settings and point-of-care (POC) applications.
