Guardion 7
The Guardion 7 was a portable GC-TMS that featured a low thermal mass capillary gas chromatograph with high-speed temperature programming and a miniature toroidal ion trap mass spectrometer with a mass range from 50 to 500 Daltons. It was originally designed and built by Torion technologies, which was acquired by Perkin Elmer in August 2015. It has been replaced by the Torion T-9 sold by Perkin Elmer.

Known Interferents/Inhibitors |
| GC/MS is highly selective for volatile and semivolatile organic compounds when used by a skilled operator. Low false positive/negative rates for target analytes. False IDs are more likely for unknowns (nontargets) since GC retention times cannot be compared to reference RTs. |
