The HazMatID is a rugged, compact, self-contained FT-IR spectrometer with an integrated computer weighing 22 lbs. The unit can be operated by battery or AC power, under separate computer control or in stand-alone mode with an on-board PDA. The unit is liquid-tight and can be fully-decontaminated.
