Hardened MobileTrace (HMT)
The Hardened MobileTrace® is a hand-held Ion Trap Mobility Spectrometer (ITMS) for detection of chemical warfare agents, narcotics, explosives, and other threat agents. Two sampling modes are available: direct vapor sampling and swab/wipe sampling. Sensitivity is in ppb range and results are qualitative. Identification is achieved via comparison of ITMS plasmagrams to on-board reference libraries. The unit can be operated in either stand-alone mode or via personal computer.
