Metal Detective Lab 1899
For colorimetric determination of metals and alloys. Samples are analyzed by placing a test paper strip against the sample and applying an electric current to the strip. A reagent in the test paper reacts with the sample, causing a color change. The method is non-destructive and large samples can be analyzed in place. This product is intended for intact metal and alloy samples larger than one square inch. Samples may need to be prepared by abrading the surface with emery paper prior to analysis.
