HAPSITE Smart Plus Chemical Identification System
The HAPSITE® is a person-portable Gas Chromatograph/Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) capable of identifying and quantifying volatile organic compounds (VOCs), toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), toxic industrial materials (TIMs), chemical warfare agents (CWAs), and select semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs). The HAPSITE can sample vapors directly in real time (MS only) or via an internal sample concentrator in GC/MS mode. Mass spectra can be searched against the on-board NIST MS library and quantitative results of GC/MS data can be produced using the on-board target compound analysis software. An optional Heated Headspace System (HHS) is available for purge-and-trap analysis of water samples.
