Dräger Infrared Sensors
Designed for use with the Dräger X-AM 7000. An infrared transmitter passes radiation through a sample. If the sample contains a gas of interest, then it will absorb some of the IR radiation and the signal will be weaker. The sensor also contains a reference to compensate for conditions in transmitter performance, dust, and other similar conditions.
