Enzyme Coated Carbon Nanotubes
Enzyme coated Carbon Nanotubes (ECNT) are miniaturized enzymatic biosensors for medical, environmental and chemical analysis. The enzyme used to coat the nanotubes is specific to the analyte of interest. The nanotube sensor may be combined with an Electronic Tongue to analyze a drop of blood, urine or saliva for metabolic analysis. An Electronic Nose can be used to analyze a large number of analytes for toxic gas detection and chemical warfare sensing.
