D16 Portable Gas Leak Detector
The D16 Portable Gas Leak Detector is a tool for performing regular leak checks in gas storage areas, around process equipment and piping, or in confined spaces prior to entry. Designed for one-hand operation, the detector contains an internal sample pump and a flexible sampling wand to help locate the source of the detected gas. Detection is accomplished by means of “smart sensor modules” consisting of a sensor, amplifier and memory module in a single removable package. Only one sensor module may be installed in the D16 at a time, but the vendor claims that the detector can be reconfigured for a new gas in less than a minute.
