SBG-200 Wall-Mounted Gas Monitor
A semi-conductor is applied to a non-conductor between two electrodes. The system is heated to a point where the gas of interest will cause a change in the conductivity of the semi-conductor. As the concentration of the gas of interest increases, the resistance of the semi-conductor drops. A relay contact is provided to allow the SBG-200 to connect with a central alarm system or turn on emergency apparatus.

| Electrochemical cells are vulnerable to organic solvents. Catalytic beads are poisoned by silicones, fluorides and chlorides. IR has little to no interferences, but cannot see hydrogen. |
