The GID-M man-portable chemical agent detector can detect nerve, blister, blood, and choking agents at the JSOR concentration level with near real-time detection. Operable at JSOR temperature extremes. GID-M has different modes of operation to meet the various military and civil operational detection requirements against high and low level CW and TICs. GID-M is based on the MCAD (Man-portable Chemical Agent Detector) developed for the UK MoD. The detection suite for GID-M can be tailored to the operational equipment.
