GID-3

The GID-3 is designed specifically for use in vehicles and by dismounted troops. GID-3 can be dismounted from the vehicle when the crew dismounts. It can then be used as a man-portable system and used for point detection with a Remote Alarm. GID-3 is installed into the General Motors LAV, the Kuwait Desert Warrior, and General Dynamics MIA2 battle tank, amongst other platforms.
