The M908™ is a hand held mass spectrometer with MS/MS capabilities. It can operate in continuous vapor sampling mode or have solid and liquid samples introduced via the thermal desorption port. It is designed to be fully deconnable and operates for > 4 hrs on a single battery charge. The first handheld tool utilizing high-pressure mass spectrometry™ (HPMS), M908 provides civilian, federal and military responders with analysis capabilities for CBRNE identification and detection at the point of action. Weighing 2.0 kg (4.4 lbs), the M908 is designed for operation in full protective gear.
