Thermal mechanical analysis seeks to display the mechanical characteristics of materials in response to fluctuations in temperature such as heating or cooling. Crystalline structure, for example, is highly temperature dependent. TMA will unveil the optimal operating conditions of a material and define how the material might respond in unforeseen changes in temperature.
